In the mid-90s, a young rapper from Detroit was making waves in the underground scene.

In 1996, Eminem released his debut album, "Infinite," recorded at Bass Brothers' studio.

The album had a more laid-back, jazz-influenced sound compared to his later work.

"Infinite" struggled to gain traction, with critics saying Eminem sounded too similar to other rappers of the time.

Despite the lukewarm reception, "Infinite" laid the groundwork for Eminem's future success.
